The VYSA Workshop will begin this Friday, February 9th, with a
lecture presented by Mark Dempsey, a youth coach with the
world famous Manchester United. A reception will follow the
lecture in Exhibit Hall and is open to all attendees.

Sessions geared specifically toward those working at the club and league levels include valuable information. There are many of these club and league specific sessions to attend. Club and League Presidents are encouraged to attend and should plan on bringing several of other officials.

Congress recently moved the date of Daylight Savings time. Clubs and Leagues should be aware of this change because of the effect it will have on practices and game schedules.

The VYSA State Office will send letters of reminder to VYSA Clubs and Leagues regarding Registration fees. Letters will go out in March and Spring registration fees are due April 1st.

VYSA will again host the US Youth Soccer Kohl’s American Cup for recreational teams in conjunction with Splash Down Soccer Quest for travel teams on June 23 and 24, 2007 at Ben Lomond Park in Manassas.
