On Thursday, April 25, 2013, Directors of Coaching, Technical Directors and Board Members of various youth clubs in Virginia Youth Soccer Association’s North District got together for a Workshop to address recreation soccer. The goal of the evening, which was hosted by Northern Virginia Youth Soccer Club, was to share ideas of what has been working for youth clubs and what we need to improve upon.

The Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA) seeks an Executive Director (ED) to manage its programs and activities. VYSA’s state office is located in Spotsylvania County, near Fredericksburg, VA.

Virginia Youth Soccer will host the US Soccer National "C" License course this summer.  The course is scheduled for August in Fredericksburg.  Please click here for more details.

Beginning January 1, 2013, waivers into the D License Course will NO LONGER be accepted.

Even if a coach has a previously-approved waiver, it will no longer be considered valid. Holding the US Soccer “E” Certificate/License for a minimum of six months will be the only prerequisite for the “D” course. US Soccer is currently updating and making revisions to improve the “D” License course. Please check back frequently for updates.
